Dr. Mona Alnaeemi is a mental health professional and Licensed Chemical Dependency Counselor (LCDC), as well as a Board-Certified Practitioner in Human Services /Clinical Social Work. With years of experience supporting individuals impacted by violence and trauma, she is deeply committed to helping people heal, overcome adversity, and break down the stigma surrounding mental health.
Beyond her clinical work, Dr. Alnaeemi has played a key role in developing and supervising programmatic standards that promote culturally responsive and compassionate services for individuals experiencing emotional and psychological distress. Her expertise includes clinical assessment, treatment planning, psychoeducation, case management, crisis intervention, and counseling across individual, family, and support-group settings. She has provided services in a variety of environments, including shelters, hospitals, and nonprofit organizations.
Dr. Alnaeemi's academic achievements reflect her dedication to professional growth and lifelong learning. She holds a Doctorate in Philosophy specializing in Human Services/Clinical Social Work, along with two master's degrees in Human and Social Services and Management. She also maintains current certifications in Substance Abuse Counseling, Trauma and Abuse, and Leadership.
Committed to advancing the mental health and human services fields, Dr. Alnaeemi has conducted research in human and social services and shared her expertise through community seminars, webinars, and professional conferences. Her combination of clinical experience, academic scholarship, research, and advocacy reflects a lasting commitment to strengthening mental health services and ensuring that individuals and communities have access to compassionate, culturally responsive support.
